Po kilku tygodniach oczekiwania czy Went Miller zagra w serialu i będziemy go regularnie oglądać w telewizji, mamy potwierdzenie, że Went nie zagra w serialu "Identity" stacji ABC. Rolę tę dostał Irlandzki aktor Colin O'Donoghue. Przypomnijmy, że Went dostał główną rolę w komediodramacie "Analog", być może zagra w RE5 (jeszcze nie potwierdzone na 100%) i nie przyjął tej roli, gdyż czas na planie "Identity" pokrywałby się z jego przyszłymi projektami.

Colin O'Donoghue (The Rite) has landed the male lead in ABC's drama pilot Identity. The project, from ABC Studios, Mark Gordon Co. and writer John Glenn, is an action procedural based on a British format that centers on an elite police unit formed to combat the explosion of identity-related crime. Irish-born O'Donoghue will play John Bloom, an intensely private, psychologically insightful former undercover FBI agent who's secretly never left his undercover identity behind, even though he is now working with his old comrade Martha Adams (Angela Bassett) in the FBI's new Identity Crimes Unit.

Went wcieli się w filmie w geniusza, który będzie próbował połączyć prawdziwą miłość ze światem cyfrowym, co doprowadzi go na skraj szaleństwa. Za scenariusz odpowiada również reżyser obrazu, Mike Million.

In this post-Prison Break world, Wentworth Miller is becoming known more for his scripting skills – he wrote the drama Stoker under a pseudonym that has attracted Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth and director Chan-wook Park – than for his acting. But he’s still staying in front of the camera and has just agreed to star in Analog.

As the title might suggest, the film will deal with a man who is having trouble adapting to our increasingly digital world. In this case, the focus will be on Miller’s troubled, introverted genius, who is stumbling through life looking for love but, for all his intelligence, just can’t find that special someone.

Mike Million wrote the script, which found itself on the Black List of highly regarded screenplays back in 2005. He’s now scraped together the money to get it made and will direct it as his second stint wielding the megaphone. He has $3 million to shoot with and is looking at kicking off production this summer in Michigan, though nothing is set in stone yet. Chances are he’s still looking for the right romantic foil for Miller.

Brendan McDonald is producing the $3 million movie, which is gearing up for a possible summer shoot in Michigan. In addition to the Luke Wilson comedy "Tenure," he previously produced the Irish indie "The Runway."

Million recently completed a rewrite of Paul Haggis' script for "Honeymoon With Harry."

Miller is a budding scribe himself, having written "Stoker" for Fox Searchlight under the pseudonym Ted Foulke. He most recently co-starred opposite Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter in Paul W.S. Anderson's "Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Miller is repped by ICM, while WME and McDonald Entertainment rep Million.

Jones has worked extensively in television including multiple-episode arcs on Rules of Engagement and Men In Trees. Miller rose to fame in Fox’s Prison Break. A graduate of Princeton University (with a BA in English Lit), Miller penned a horror-themed screenplay that last year went into development at Fox Searchlight.

Okazuje się, że Resident Evil: Afterlife nie było ostatnią, kinową adaptacją "Rezydencji Zła". Potwierdziły się wcześniejsze spekulacje mówiące o tym, że piąta odsłona filmu jest już w produkcji...
Informacją tą podzielił się z fanami sam Don Carmody, producent całej serii. Obecnie prace dotyczą tylko i wyłącznie scenariusza, jednak już wiosną ekipa zawita na plan filmowy. Oczywiście na zabraknie na nim Alice, granej przez Milę Jovovich, oraz Paul W. S. Andersona w roli reżysera.

Ciekawe czy Went ponownie zagra... Chris Redfield w 5 części gry ma bardzo umięśnione ciało:)
