Having wrapped up his series "Prison Break" last year, actor Wentworth Miller is now ready to part ways with the historic Hancock Park condominium he gutted and renovated.
Listed at $1.8 million, the Country Club Manor unit was refashioned with the help of his designer, Irene Lipsey. Much was replaced and redone, including the floors, the kitchen layout and the bathroom fixtures. The custom millwork — paneling, built-in cabinetry and doors — was crafted on site, and the project took about a year to complete.
Walnut hardwood floors start in the entry and continue into the living room, which has golf course views. The dining room has built-in bookcases, and the master bedroom features window seats in the turret. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,638 square feet of living space.
The prewar building, designed by architect Leland Bryant, was converted to 46 condos in the early '90s. The building, which has 24-hour valet service and security, overlooks the Wilshire Country Club.
Miller, 38, starred on "Prison Break" (2005-09) as an engineer who, with his brother, tries to break out of a prison that he helped to design. He co-stars in "Resident Evil: Afterlife" (2010).
