Kimberly Peirce ("Nie czas na łzy") wyreżyseruje remake francuskiego thrillera "Harry, twój prawdziwy przyjaciel". Scenariusz pisze Wentworth Miller.
Oryginalny film opowiada o Michelu, którego odwiedza stary klasowy kolega Harry. Mężczyzna jednak nie pamięta przyjaciela. Im bardziej przyjazny staje się przybysz, tym groźniejsze są skutki jego działań.
Obecnie Peirce pracuje nad nową wersją "Carrie" z udziałem Chloe Moretz i Julianne Moore. Ostatni scenariusz Millera to "Stoker" - horror z Nicole Kidman i Mią Wasikowską, reżyserowany przez Park Chan-wooka.

Principals Celine Rattray and Trudie Styler announced on Thursday (26) that Kimberly Peirce will direct the remake of the French psychological thriller.
Michelle Krumm joins the producer roster. Wentworth Miller is adapting the screenplay, which is in the vein of Strangers On A Train and centres on a mysterious man who joins a family on vacation.
“We’re excited to work with the incredibly talented Kimberly Peirce and Wentworth Miller on this film,” Rattray (pictured) and Styler said. “A smart thriller like this one really highlights range and versatility of Maven’s slate.”
Peirce is currently directing the Carrie remake starring Chloë Moretz and Julianne Moore for Screen Gems and MGM.
Miller recently collaborated with Chan-wook Park on Fox Searchlight’s upcoming horror film Stoker starring Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowska.
Maven’s first feature Imogene will premiere at Toronto. Filth is in post-production and stars James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent, Jamie Bell and Imogen Poots.

Nowy scenariusz Wenta "The Dissapointments Room" zostanie sfilmowany

Voltage Pictures i Killer Films zdecydowały się wyprodukować scenariusz autorstwa gwiazdy serialu "Skazany na śmierć", Wentwortha Millera, pod tytułem "Dissapointments Room".
Będzie to historia domu na prowincji, do którego wprowadza się pewna rodzina. Bohaterowie nie wiedzą, ile mrocznych sekretów czai się w murach posesji.

Voltage Pictures and Killer Films will produce a new project based on an original screenplay by Wentworth Miller called The Disappointments Room. Voltage's Nicolas Chartier and Zev Foreman will produce the thriller along with Killer's Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon.
The film follows a family that moves into a mysterious old house in the country that has a dark past.
